This school was established in BS 2036(1980 AD) as a Pre-Primary School in Kalikanagar, Butwal-12, Lumbini, Nepal. Those days there were very few private schools in this area. Siddhartha was one of the pioneers in this field.
The school was recognized as a secondary school in 1994 by the Government of Nepal. Initially there were about 300 students. There were only ten students in the first batch who appeared SLC (School Leaving Certificate) Examination, the National Board Exam that is conducted for class 10, from this school . Siddhartha has been upgraded as a Higher Secondary School with Science and Management streams since 2015. Now there are about 1700 students who are receiving education in this institution.
Location and Access
The school is located in Dingarnagar, Tilottama-4, Rupandehi, Nepal. It is just 5 km away from the town Butwal. It is easily accessible from every direction as there is good network of pitched roads that lead up to the school gate. There is service of public and private transportation systems other than the school transportation facilities.
School has magnificent infrastructure that is embedded in an area of about two hectare. It has altogether seven building blocks; three of them are academic blocks having spacious, well ventilated and well furnished class rooms. One is administration block and the rest three are hostel blocks. There are science labs and computer labs with high speed internet facilities and a well equipped library.
